Planets

Collin has taken an interest in planets and the Universe. He has been so scared of his room lately, so today we headed to the education store to check out some planet posters and glowing stars. This was a huge hit. We went as a family and came home and worked for about an hour in our son's room. We removed the baseball theme we had up all over and replaced it with laminated punch out planets, Universe posters, a glow int he dark mobile of the planets and some stars on the ceiling.Collin was telling us where to put the planets and knew the correct order. He stims a little on the stars, but after the lights are out the glowing stops in about 15 minutes. I am just so happy that Collin communicated an interest to us and we took it to the next level and decorated his room with it and he really enjoyed it. After about an hour of decorating, he was done but it was a great hour. Today is our 8 year wedding anniversary and I couldn't have thought of a better evening. Thank You Collin. (and Ryan of 2 years, Collin's brother who helped????) The little things are really what can make a day great! I hope you all can see the great little things that happen each day.
